Laughter Is the Best Medicine Gala

• Herald as Jhpiego’s single largest annual fundraising event, Laughter Is the Best Medicine is attended by many of Los Angeles’ leading executives, talent and philanthropists. As the lead designer and project manager for the gala, I designed all of the print collateral (e.g., save the date, invitations, donation cards, auction paddles, etc.), coordinated with the web design team on the digital invitations and reminder emails, offered art direction for the revamped gala website, and met regularly with the development team to ensure all aspects of the gala were progressing as planned. The 2019 gala raised over $790,000, the most in its five year history.
